HOW TO THESIS
On 25th September at 19:00, RSU ISA organized How to Thesis, an online workshop aimed at supporting students in one of the most important stages of their academic journey. The event featured Bárbara Silva, an RSU graduate, who generously shared her personal experience of completing a thesis, offering students a realistic and encouraging perspective on the process.
During the session, Bárbara provided practical guidance on how to structure, write, and present a thesis effectively. She addressed common difficulties faced by students, such as managing time, narrowing down research topics, staying consistent in writing, and overcoming the stress and uncertainty often associated with thesis work. Her insights were not only practical but also motivational, reminding participants that the challenges of writing a thesis can be managed with the right approach and mindset.
The interactive format allowed students to engage directly, ask questions, and gain personalized advice, making the workshop especially valuable for those currently in the planning or writing stages of their thesis. Participants walked away with a clearer understanding of how to organize their research, improve their academic writing skills, and present their work with greater confidence.
For those who could not attend, the session was recorded and is available here!
