HOW TO RESEARCH: turn ideas into impact
On 26th September at 17:00, RSU ISA hosted How to Research, a workshop held in Auditorium 3 of the main RSU building. The event featured Beatriz Coelho, an RSU student and ISA member, who shared her personal research journey and her experience participating in the International Student Conference (ISC).
The session aimed to help students strengthen their research skills by focusing on the essential steps of academic research. Beatriz guided participants through the process of choosing research topics, finding mentors, and preparing to present research with clarity and confidence. She also highlighted the importance of persistence, creativity, and collaboration in making research both a valuable and rewarding part of student life.
Attendees benefited from practical advice on navigating challenges such as narrowing down a research question, balancing academic demands, and building the confidence to present their work in front of peers and professionals.
