Hi!

I am Vijan Perera, a 4th-year medical student from Sri Lanka and the current Treasurer of the International Students Association. In this role, I am responsible for managing ISA’s finances, including planning budgets, approving expenditures, overseeing project competitions, and supporting societies in organizing well-funded, impactful events in line with RSU financial regulations. I work in close collaboration with the ISA Board, SP Finance, and society treasurers to ensure that funds are allocated fairly, documentation is complete, and financial reporting remains accurate and timely.

Organized, approachable, and committed to transparency, I strive to make financial processes clear and accessible for all students seeking support for their initiatives. My aim as Treasurer is to use our resources wisely so that ISA can continue to foster a vibrant, inclusive, and engaging community for international students at RSU.
