As the President of the International Students Association and a 4th-year medical student from Sri Lanka, I am deeply committed to advocating for the needs and interests of the international student community. My primary goal is to foster a supportive, inclusive, and engaging environment where students from all backgrounds feel welcomed, represented, and empowered.

In my role, I strive to lead by example, ensure effective communication between the student body and university administration, and coordinate meaningful initiatives that enhance the student experience. I work closely with a dedicated team to organize events, address student concerns, promote cultural diversity, and build a strong sense of community among international students.

Leadership, transparency, and collaboration are at the heart of everything I do. I believe in bridging gaps—whether cultural, academic, or social—to strengthen unity and ensure that every student has the opportunity to thrive both inside and outside the classroom.
