Kurdish Society – Rīga Stradiņš University
The Kurdish Society at Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) is a student-led community created to bring a sense of home to Kurdish students living far from their homeland, while also welcoming anyone interested in learning about Kurdish culture and traditions.
For many Kurdish students studying abroad, being away from home can feel challenging. Our society aims to recreate that sense of belonging through shared experiences, cultural connection, and a supportive community. At the same time, we open our doors to all RSU students who are curious to explore and engage with Kurdish culture.
Our Vision
Our vision is to build a strong and welcoming community where students can connect, support one another, and celebrate cultural identity. We aim to create an environment where Kurdish students feel at home, while also encouraging intercultural exchange and meaningful connections with students from different backgrounds.
