The RSU Cardiovascular Society (RCS) is a student-led academic organization for students interested in cardiology, cardiovascular surgery, and vascular medicine.

Our Mission

To complement the standard medical curriculum by providing accessible, clinically relevant, and hands-on learning opportunities for aspiring specialists.

What We Do

We work closely with experienced healthcare professionals, faculty, and global institutions to expose our members to real-world cardiovascular cases. Our activities include:

• Expert-Led Lectures & Workshops: Gain deep clinical insights and practice essential medical skills.
• Clinical Case Discussions: Analyze complex cardiovascular cases and hone diagnostic reasoning.
• Peer-to-Peer Seminars: Deliver supervised presentations during theoretical meetings to refine academic and public speaking skills under mentor guidance.
• Research & Networking: Connect with peers and specialists to explore research projects and build professional relationships.

How to Join

We welcome students from all study years and experience levels—whether you are set on a career in cardiovascular medicine or simply want to strengthen your clinical foundation.

• Active Membership: Applications open at the beginning of each semester.
• Passive Membership: Open year-round. All students are welcome to attend open meetings, workshops, and lectures.
