Hi!

My name is Muskan Pathan, and I am a fourth-year medical student from India.

It is truly an honour to serve the international student community once again — this time as President. ISA has been a big part of my student life, and my previous experience on the ISA board has allowed me to work closely with students, understand their concerns, and advocate for their needs.

I am honoured to lead a diverse and passionate team dedicated to representing, serving, and empowering international students at Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU). ISA’s mission is to improve the academic, cultural, and social experience of all international students — and I’m proud to champion this vision every day.

RSU is home to students from all over the world, and I strongly believe that our diversity is our greatest strength. As President, my goal is to ensure that every international student feels supported, heard, and included, while strengthening communication between students and the university and encouraging meaningful engagement across our community.

Together with an incredible ISA team, I look forward to continuing the work of improving student life at RSU and making ISA a place you can always turn to — whether for support, guidance, or a sense of belonging.
